Ideation
The ideation is focused on exploring various forms and structures of the iPad station and ways of interaction that user will attach and detach the iPad from the product.
Inspiration Board
To explore the appearance design opportunities, I created two inspiration boards with various design languages. To match with the existing style of Bosch Smart Home Product line, and bring extra elegance flavor to this product, I decided to design the appearance in a lifestyle way and the material with wood and ceramic-looking plastic.
Final Concept Visualization
The final concept is an elegant triangle shape with curved and slim shape, which also enables user to easily attach and detach iPad from the base. It has cord storage at the bottom and power button in front facing up for easy finger touch.
